Avnet Taps Finance Professional Jim Kebert to Work with Resellers
TEMPE, Ariz. -- Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced that Jim Kebert has joined its Solutions Marketing and Development team as vice president of Financial Solutions for the Americas. With more than 17 years of channel experience, Kebert reports to Tony Vottima, vice president, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, Solutions Marketing and Development group.
In his new position, Kebert will work closely with Avnet's reseller partners in the Americas to help them maximize renewal opportunities and enhance profitability through better financial modeling as VARs leverage Avnet's solutions practices and design increasingly custom packages for their end-user customers.
"Jim's diverse background, executive level experience and knowledge of the channel will help our partners drive business profitability, which, of course, ultimately benefits Avnet as well," said Tony Vottima, vice president, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, Solutions Marketing and Development group.
Most recently, Kebert was the chief financial officer of 944 Media, LLC, a media company specializing in print and online content, special events and custom publishing. Prior to that position, Kebert was with Insight Enterprises for 17 years and played a significant role in Insight's IPO. He joined Direct Alliance Corporation in 2000 as senior vice president of finance, was promoted to chief operating officer in 2003 and went on to serve as president from 2005-2007.
